At Happy Tree Academy children can access 15h or 30h government funding depending on eligibility (please check eligibility at https://www.beststartinlife.gov.uk/).
We deploy the funded hours as part time sessions, we do not provide full days funded only. The funded hours can be accessed either term time only (15h or 30h for 38 weeks) or stretched (11h or 22h for 51 weeks).
Funded hours help reduce the cost of childcare, but they do not eliminate it.
To ensure we continue to provide exciting opportunities for your child which go above and beyond the basic EYFS, Happy Tree Academy has a voluntary charge* for funded sessions as follows:
Breakfast: £0.50
Snack + fruit throughout the day: £2.00
Lunch: £4.50
Seasonal/ special arts & craft materials/ resources including cooking activities or food tasting/ exotic & celebration foods/fruit: £2.10
Resources for science experiments & messy play/ malleable materials: £2.10
Library service: £1.40
Blossom app: £0.40
Extra-curricular activities: £3.00
Outings/ Professional visits: £1.00
